Sorry ... it failed again. Same error message as before
Error 553 5.5.4<
POP-server.houston.rr.com/110/ajarnett@[127.0.0.1]>...Real domain name
required for sender. And again the brackets are supplied in the error
message but are not being put in by me.

Do I need to type in POP3 before the 127.0.0.1? I haven't been doing
that just wondered if the line should read POP3-server.127.0.0.1 or
something like that?
Okay... what's happening... I'm psychically calling on you to check
here
since I feel you need help with Step 3. <G>
(I know we aren't married or anything, but when email breaks down,
the
ng is the logical place to meet, right?) Well, Wolf and I always ran
here anyway. Course Wolf and I *are* married. :] I shoulda told you
to
come here if you had a problem.
I'm waiting with bated breath so see the POP got config'd for the
mail
proxy...

No.

You aren't changing the username (or any other settings) anywhere else
are you? We should only be changing three little settings in the POP3
tab.

As a trial, try putting your full email address at the end, instead of
just ajarnet.

yourmailserver.com/110/***@whatever.com

Let me know.

I copy/pasted these settings from the window in Pegasus. These are
the only three things I've changed.

POP3 Host 127.0.0.1

User name pop-server.houston.rr.com/110/ajarnett

Connect to server on TCP/IP port 9999

Do you see any problems?

I'll go try filling in my email addy at the end of user info. and
come back here to let you know if it doesn't work.

Notice the format here is getting screwed up too???

Not a one. Looks perfect. I have to look into it in some tech groups and
it's already late where you are. You can use OE in the meantime.

You'd have to ask AJ. She's the one doing all the work. <g>
"Are ya havin' fun yet AJ?"

She may ignore us now since she's using OE again...
